Partnership and Resource Mobilisation (PREM) Unit

The Partnership and Resource Mobilisation (PREM) Unit of the Ghana TVET Service aims to create an ongoing innovative and sustainable way of channeling vital resources to help achieve the goals and objectives of the Service and is under the Partnership, Workplace Experience Learning, Inclusivity and Informal Apprenticeship (PWIIA) Division.

The PREM Unit is headed by a Deputy Director with a current staff strength of seven (7) at the Head Office who help in coordinating activities of PREM Officers in the 16 Regions and as well within all the government-subvented TVIs across the country. 

Roles and Functions

The Partnership and Resource Mobilisation Unit was established to ensure the effective performance of the resource mobilisation functions of GTVETS through the identification of relevant industries, organisations and individuals for sustainable partnerships.

Amongst its key objectives is to forge strategic partnerships to mobilise resources towards the achievement of the Ghana TVET Service mandate. We envisage achieving this through the following channels for mobilisation:

Physical/Material Resources

Human and Technical Resources

Technology Resource

Mobilisation through Internally Generated Funds (IGF)

Together with other Divisions at the Headquarters, PREM works to ensure effective collaboration with Industry to ensure that all polices, programmes and activities are done taking into keen consideration, the diverse needs of staff, learners and our teaming number of Master Craft Persons (MCPs),to promote gender equity, social inclusivity and most importantly prepare our learners/apprentices for the world of work.
