More on the Service
The Service is under the Ministry of Education, and is managed by a Director-General (DG), responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Service. The DG is assisted by two (2) Deputy Directors-General in charge of Operations and Management Services respectively.
The Service is made up of eight (8) divisions at the headquarters, Regional Directors and staff to manage the sixteen (16) Regional Divisions across the broad spectrum of Formal, Non-formal and Informal levels of TVET delivery.
Currently, the Service has 258 government-subvented Technical Vocational Institutions (TVIs) spread out in all Regions. Non-formal service delivery is made possible through over 1,000,000 Master Craft Persons (MCPs).
The POE’s Portal
The POE’s Portal is an initiative of the Ghana TVET Service aimed mainly to showcase our exceptional group of persons and organisations that have and continue to dedicate their time, knowledge and other vital resources needed by the Service.
The most valuable yet voluntary technical assistance, as well as logistical support provided by our Panel of Experts have contributed significantly to the modest achievements made so far by the Service.
Importantly, the Portal will be a platform to showcase success stories, share upcoming events and serve as an avenue for further collaboration especially in joint proposals and PPP initiatives.
